About this episode

 

حين كان معظم الرجال يتنافسون لنيل مقعد في مجلس الشعب المصري، بادرت بجرأة وترشحت كأول امرأة تقدم على هذا الخطوة بعد فتح باب الترشح للنساء في مصر.

بدأت حياتها بالنضال ضد الاستعمار وهي طفلة، واستمرت بالأعمال النضالية، حتى عُينت ضابطًا في الجيش.

خلال العدوان الثلاثي على مصر أشرفت على تدريب النساء على الإسعافات الأولية، ورعت المقاتلين.
