As China prepares for the Winter Olympics in Beijing, 35-year-old tennis star Peng Shuai goes missing following accusing a former communist party leader of sexual assault after the two had an affair. The Chinese state media has released an email from Shuai claiming she is fine but the Head of the Women’s Tennis Association says the email only “raises my concerns as to her safety and whereabouts”.
