About this episode

On today’s episode, Jason brings you wall-to-wall reaction to NFL Championship weekend. First, in the NFC, let’s give Tom Brady a round of applause for earning the win and getting to his 10th career Super Bowl. The things that he’s doing at age 43 are nothing short of magnificent. In many ways, he’s like the LeBron James of the NFL; he’s going to playing for the championship every year and it doesn’t even matter what conference you put him in. On the flip side, what a deflating loss for the Green Bay Packers. After a series of uncharacteristic miscues that put them in an 18-point hole, Aaron Rodgers was able to lead them all the way back with a chance to tie late in the 4th quarter… only for head coach Matt LaFleur to tuck his tail between his legs and kick the field goal. How do you not trust the MVP in that situation? Needless to say, the Packers never got the ball back again. Maybe that’s why Rodgers was so cryptic about his future in the postgame. In the AFC, it was the same story we’ve seen for the past 3 seasons: Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs cannot be stopped. There is no good defense against them; you’re only hope is that they beat themselves. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills were a great regular season team, but as they learned very quickly in the AFC Championship game – there’s levels to this game. Mahomes is simply on a different level right now. Can’t wait for the Super Bowl!
