The Legion of Boom is Back, Wentz Isn't ...

About this episode

On today's episode, Jason opens things up by sharing his thoughts on the Seattle Seahawks impressive road win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. In a shocking turn of events, the Seahawks didn't need Russell Wilson to bail them out this time. Seattle's defense has gone from a laughingstock to a juggernaut over the last 3 weeks. If they can keep this up, don't be surprised to see the Seahawks soar into the Super Bowl at the end of the season. On the flip side, Carson Wentz and the Eagles continue to suffer through a miserable season. Wentz has clearly regressed as a passer, but he's not the only problem in Philadelphia. Head coach Doug Pederson as fallen off as a play caller and the Eagles front office has made a series of Draft Day blunders the past few seasons. Wentz will get the brunt of the criticism - and deservedly so - but the folks around him shouldn't escape criticism. Later, Jason tells us why the ongoing saga surrounding the third postponement of the Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers game has him legitimately concerned about the rest of the NFL season. If the League Offices can't come up with some sort of plan, and if the players can't follow simple protocols, then we could see this sort of thing pop up again. Finally, Jason explains why the untimely injury to New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones could mean that Alex Smith and the Washington Football Team are now the team to beat in the NFC East. Can you believe it? What's more, they're in line to host a playoff game! 2020 is wild, man.
