On today's episode, Jason starts things by taking a small victory lap after his beloved New York Jets managed to stay competitive and still lose on Monday Night Football to the New England Patriots. Gang Green cannot afford to eek out victories when they're still just 1 game up on the Jacksonville Jaguars in the race for the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. Trevor Lawrence is a once-in-a-generation type talent at the quarterback position, and if it takes an 0-16 season to get him to the Jets, then so be it. Later, Producer Rob joins the show to help Jason make sense of Bruce Arians' latest comments about Tom Brady being unable - or unwilling - to get the ball to superstar wide receiver Mike Evans on Sunday night against the New Orleans Saints. Brady had an off-game to be sure, but isn't it odd that Antonio Brown caught more balls in his first week on the team than Evans did? It could be nothing; it come be something. All we know is that this isn't the first time that Arians has called out Brady publicly, and Tom Terrific didn't take too well to that kind of treatment back in New England. File this one away for later. Finally, the guys close things out by explaining why Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks are not legitimate Super Bowl contenders at this point in time. Wilson is awesome, but that Seahawks defense is one of the worst we've seen in a while. Unless they can find a way to even slow down the opposition, they'll find themselves one-and-done in the NFL Playoffs.
