Can't Take Anthony Edwards #1, a Superma...

About this episode

On today's episode, Jason opens things up with a quick preview of tonight's NBA Draft and tells us why he's placing a small wager on James Wiseman to go first overall to the Minnesota Timberwolves and why he's a little miffed about Anthony Edwards' peculiar comments on the eve of the Draft. Later, Jason lists a few Week 11 games in the NFL that he's looking to lay some money down on. None of these games are ones he's willing to bet the farm on, but he'd definitely be willing to drop some 'pizza money' and see what happens. Finally, Jason drops his final word on the series of trades that the Milwaukee Bucks made in hopes of getting Giannis Antetokounmpo to sign the supermax extension. Haven't the Bucks learned anything from the 4 previous players to sign it? Three of them will likely have been traded at least once in short order (Russell Westbrook, John Wall and James Harden). Getting Giannis to sign will feel all warm and fuzzy in the short term but if the Bucks continue to flame out in the playoffs don't be surprised if he decides to bolt for a Super Team a few years from now. Plus, Las Vegas Raiders radio play-by-play voice and VSiN host Brent Musburger swings by for an extended conversation to explain why he absolutely believes the Raiders are a playoff-caliber team this season, why he's not surprised that first round pick Henry Ruggs has had a slow start to his rookie season thus far, why this Sunday Night's game between the Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs is the ultimate 'Pros vs Joes' game for gamblers, why he has a personal bone to pick with the Indianapolis Colts this season, why the lack of crowds is arguably the biggest reason why scoring is at an all-time high this season in the NFL, why he's not expecting the Pittsburgh Steelers to cover the spread this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which two things he would change about sports television broadcasting today, and much more!
