Was this fate or destiny?

About this episode

I’m currently throwing myself into Gabor Mate’s training to delve deeper into myself and find my Aha moments.

Today was a big one.

When I was five years old, I would visit my Mum in a psychiatric hospital. I was forever looking around and observing ways the staff could improve the way they treated patients and my Mum.

Even as a little kid I had an attitude - even more than I have now.

I was constantly fighting with the nurses and social workers on the medication my Mum should be taking and how they were looking after her.

I couldn’t understand why they were doing that job if they didn’t care and didn’t really want to be there.

So even from back then, I had the strongest feeling that I wanted to work in mental health to help people.

Fast forward to 38 years old and I am a coach focused on guiding people to heal their past and create the life they desire.

It’s incredible that I have ended up where I am today.

If you’re feeling lost, take a good look at your life. There will be patterns that keep showing up and signs pointing you to where you should go.

You just have to be open to it.
