This week we’re talking about the cute moment that could’ve gone left when a Florida burglary suspect tried to sweet talk his way out of charges. Luckily, Judge Tabitha Blackmon handled it with grace, but that isn’t always the case. Don’t try to finesse in the courtroom and end up in contempt, y’all!
Also on the docket this week we discuss: how the hell two Atlanta cops have their jobs back after assaulting two Black college students last year; why Kenosha accused murderer Kyle Rittenhouse may be getting arrested...again; the history of celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom and that history's relevancy to her involvement in the T.I. and Tiny case; the very direct and sobering plea of ex-NFL player Chad Wheeler’s girlfriend to keep Wheeler behind bars for her safety; the latest in former President Trump’s second impeachment trial (the only President ever to be impeached twice); and all the ways the walls are closing in on R. Kelly - namely his longtime associate pleading guilty to bribery of a witness. Whew. It’s a lot but get into it.
