Aston Villa had just beaten local rivals Birmingham City 5-1 and spirits were high outside the ground. At 2:45pm, outside one pub filled with Villa supporters, a car drove past suspected to be Birmingham supporters, and a mindless lout attacked the car with a beer glass injuring the passenger. This attack set off a chain of events which devastated many lives.....
