There’s a New World Comin’ with Toshi Re...

HOW TO SURVIVE THE END OF THE WORLD
About this episode

In today’s episode, a re-run from last year, the Brown sisters interview the legendary Toshi Reagon about the making of the Parable of the Sower Opera, a production years in the making, based on the dystopian novel by Octavia E. Butler. We talked with her about turning earthseed into song, lessons from her mother, and the necessity of creative practice. In this episode Toshi makes it clear and plain why voting is a necessary part of our political participation!
