10h17 à Toulouse, le 21 septembre 2001, l'usine d'engrais chimiques AZF explosait, dans une déflagration équivalente à 200 tonnes de dynamite. Il s'agit de la plus grande catastrophe industrielle depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale. 31 victimes y ont perdu la vie ce jour-là, et des milliers de blessés vivent encore avec la cicatrice de cet instant. Un drame qui porte la signature du nitrate d'ammonium, la même substance qui a causé l'explosion du port de Beyrouth en 2020. Malgré les nombreuses catastrophes dont il est à l'origine, les mesures de sécurité n'ont pas suivies, et un nouveau drame reste possible, on vous explique !
