عزفت وغنت وقرأت الكتب وكانت شخصية فريدة في مدينتها حلب.

كتبت في المجلات منتقدة حال المرأة العربية وحثت النساء على العلم والثقافة، واشتهرت بصالونها الأدبي الذي كان مكانًا للنقاشات الثقافية وبيتًا للموسيقى والفن.
