The Gender Gap with Jamila Rizvi

LiSTNR
About this episode

In this week’s episode Steph and Laura chat with the incredibly inspirational Jamila Rizvi.

As a gender equality advocate, Jamila sheds light on the prominent gender gap in Australia. Sharing her personal experiences as a woman working in media and the government, her courageous battle with a brain tumour and the toll lockdown has played on the gender equality.

Steph & Laura absolutely LOVED Jamila’s latest book Work. Love. Body. Which explores a very important question: Will the Australia of tomorrow be more equal than the one we were born into? Or will it be a country where women and girls remain left behind?

Such an empowering episode, we highly recommend tuning in!
