Feelings and Thoughts of Loneliness

Reyzin Media
About this episode

Rhea moved to London almost three months ago now. Living in this new city has made Rhea feel major bouts of loneliness, which often result in lots of tears. However, Rhea is not alone in her loneliness (see what we did there?). It turns out 1 in 3 millennials experience loneliness. We call that an epidemic, especially that loneliness can lead to shorter lifespans down the line. In this episode, Rhea shares with Marilyn what it's felt like the last few months, and Marilyn talks about her own past feelings of loneliness. In the last half of the episode, the the two breakdown the different ways we can all show up for each other to feel a little less alone.

We’d love to hear from you. Have you ever felt lonely? Would you like to share your story with us?  Write to us on sayhi@whoruntheworldpodcast.com.

On a final note, we’ve been overwhelmed by the latest world events, particularly what’s been happening in our home country Lebanon. We do hope you can take some time out in your day to donate to these worthy causes:
