Ivm Podcasts
About this episode

This week, Ashdin is joined by one of his closest friends - Samir Patham, Director, Adventure Pulse, and a mountaineer. Samir has climbed Mount Everest (yeah, that's right!), and he talks about that on this episode. They talk about Samir's journey from working for Infosys to becoming a mountaineer and starting his own business Adventure Pulse. They talk about what attracted Samir to mountaineering, and how it all started simply with a friend saying, "I think we should climb Everest."
Samir also talks about how he got physically and technically ready for the challenge, how it takes about an average of Rs. 30 Lakh per person to climb Everest, hence you need to be financially ready as well. Samir also tells the chilling story of getting buried in an avalanche at the Everest base camp and how he thought he was going to die. Tune in for an inspiring episode.
