Ciao a tutti e bentornati nel mio podcast, nell’episodio di oggi parliamo di "Falsi Amici Linguistici", un "falso amico" in linguistica è una parola di una lingua che assomiglia morfologicamente e foneticamente ad un'altra parola di un'altra lingua ma con un significato diverso. Queste parole si assomigliano ma in realtà, i significati sono completamente diversi. Nell’episodio di oggi, parleremo nello specifico di alcuni "falsi amici" tra l'italiano e l'inglese. In linguistics, "false friend" are words in different languages that look or sound similar, but differ significantly in meaning. You'll hear a lot of examples of "false friends" between Italian and English, to better understand the main differences of these words, I reported all the examples that I used in the description.
