Omar leaves Al-Khaleej to move to Amman at the age of 16. He, an industrial engineer, joins Aramex and Al Hikma until he leaves his steady corporate job to branch out on his own and find Ayoubi and Rajis. His love for Jordan pushed him to find the two non-traditional restaurants bringing a modern twist through "Foul and Tameez" and "Chapati and Karak". He saw an opportunity to start from Jordan with the cuisine and food rituals ingrained in Al-Khaleej's culture. Taking it from there, he learnt that food, our common ground, is his favourite form of communication and bonding. Today, he envisions Ayoubi and Rajis to thrive as The Place, bringing everyone together with love or delivering food to peoples' homes with love.

عمر بستوني ورغم تخصصه في الهندسة الصناعية، وعمله في كبرى الشركات، إلا أنه عاد إلى عمان حامًلا معه ثقافة متأصلة عرفها وأحبها.
رأى فرصته للبدء من الأردن مع ما حمله إليها من الخليج، حيث أدرك أن الطعام، قاعدتنا المشتركة، هو الطريقة المثلى التي تمكننا من التواصل وبناء العلاقات في ما بيننا بأفضل صورة.
فبدأ مشروعه انطلاقًا من هناك، وأنشأ "أيوبي وراجيس" مطعمي "الفول والتميس" و"الجباتي والكرك" بلمسة عصرية بعيدة عن كل ما هو تقليدي.
اليوم يرى عمر مشاريعه الريادية، تكبر لتجمع الناس رغم خلفياتهم الثقافية المتنوعة، لخلق نقطة التقاء، وفرص للتواصل والحب.
