Product Disclosure Statements for Austra...

Rask Australia
About this episode
In this episode we're going to do something a little different, and it's going to require your help.

Today we're going to take you through a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for a Super fund, and we're hoping you play along by opening up a copy of your own Super funds PDS too!

WATCH THE VIDEO VERSION HERE: https://youtu.be/4nW0TTMHJfs

We'll point out some of the key sections you'll want to have a read of, what some of the jargon means and how to more confidently understand the fund you're invested in. Essentially, it’s the document you want to ask for and read through (I’ll be the first to admit they’re pretty dry) — before investing in any financial product!

I know, I know, this doesn't sound like something very fun to do with 30 minutes of your day, but if you put in the work now to ensure you're in the most suitable product for you, you'll be cruising all the way to the beach in retirement.

We'll be using a few different PDS's from large Aussie Super funds to illustrate what we're saying as we work our way through this episode.
