ARMED PART 2: The Good Guys

Vice
About this episode

We take you inside a training that transforms school teachers into armed educators. This is the second episode of a three part series about arming teachers and what exactly it means to be safe in school. In this episode producer Jen Kinney follows Angie, an Ohio elementary school teacher with almost no firearm experience, as she learns to use a gun and roleplays shootings in a real school. If she passes, Angie will be able to carry a gun in her classroom.

Reported and produced by Jen Kinney.
