“Find this Fuck”: Inside the Citizen App

Vice
About this episode

The Citizen app is advertised as a public safety tool: a place where people can connect, inform, and “protect one another” from local crime. But VICE News’ Motherboard got a hold of internal documents and messages that show how Citizen is pushing the boundaries of what an app-enabled vigilante force may be capable of.

This episode was reported by Joseph Cox and Jason Koebler of VICE News’ Motherboard, and produced by Adreanna Rodriguez. Read more of their reporting here.
