Nacido en Gales en 1888, este historiador formado en Oxford y gran conocedor del mundo árabe, Thomas Edward Lawrence se convirtió en el protagonista más famoso de la rebelión árabe contra los turcos durante la Primera Guerra Mundial gracias, en parte, a las distintas películas que se han realizado sobre su figura.
