Ladies & Gentleman - Enjoy this incredibly inspiring interview w/ JAVIER SOSA, the one-and-only founder of the upscale fine-dining Mexican Restaurant Chain known as “Javier’s Restaurants.” With several popular locations located in California & a #1 favorite spot in Las Vegas, this incredible interview documents the never-before-seen full length story of a Mexican immigrant who came to the US to wash dishes as a teen (to earn money for his family back home) & would later spend an additional 20+ years mastering his craft learning every job at the Mexican restaurant he worked at before finding himself getting fired in his mid-40’s & having to reinvent himself completely. This interview documents that journey & how after losing everything (including his money, job & home) Javier & his wife came together and created what would end up becoming the Uber successful upscale Mexican Restaurant Chain! For context, the restaurant is frequented by social elites ranging from billionaires to celebrities, including being a top-favorite of the late basketball legend, Kobe Bryant! This interview will blow your mind from start to finish, so make sure to watch it until the very end & share it with a friend :) ENJOY & GET READY TO BE MIND BLOWN!

OC ARTICLE EXCERPT DESCRIBING THE JAVIER’s STORY:

“In 1995, the original Javier’s was born in Laguna Beach, followed by Javier’s Irvine. Other locations include Newport Coast, Las Vegas, La Jolla, Century City and Los Cabos, Mexico. The business is a family affair, with the Irvine restaurant and two others managed by Sosa’s children.

Sosa also treats his staff like family, and the restaurants always promote from within.

“We’re not going to be the best Mexican restaurant,” he tells his staff. “We’re going to be the best restaurant, period, from the service to the personality, the ambiance, the culture.”

His commitment to his menu is every bit as unwavering: “We serve Mexican food. Our food is not fusion Mexican. It’s the food we eat in our homes, but using the best ingredients you can get.”

For all of his successes, Sosa might be most remembered for a simple idea that became a national phenomenon. “In the 1980s, I invented Taco Tuesdays,” he says. “Tuesday was the slowest day of the week, so we put tacos on the bar for 50 cents. We got busier and busier, and it became a thing.”
