Rhany Kabbadj was born in Marrakech. His father is Moroccan and his mother is Franco-Algerian[3]. He made his stage debut in Morocco[4], in the Studio Five' program, in the mid-1990s. This program was one of the most popular at that time among the Moroccan public.
